Michael E. Catalinotto

Mike Catalinotto, our senior partner, has been an integral member of the firm for over 60 years. He is an intelligent, intense litigator, earning the highest possible Martindale-Hubbell ranking of AV from his fellow practitioners, a testament to the fact that his peers rank him at the highest level of professional excellence.
In 1995, Mike’s name was added to the the name of the firm, in recognition of his decades of exemplary legal service on behalf of the firm throughout the Greater Capital Region and south to New York City.
Working out of the Albany and Saugerties offices Michael has handled a great variety or cased. He has represented victims of injuries and damages in a variety of personal injury cases involving; auto accidents, construction accidents, defective products, slip and falls, sexual harassment and state and municipal accidents.
He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State, American, Albany County, and Ulster County Bar Associations. He is a graduate of New York University and Columbia Law School.

In addition, Mike is a former member of the New York State Advisory Committee on the Civil Practice Law and Rules, the Ulster County Charter Commission, Ulster County Reapportionment Commission, Ulster County Charter Revision Commission and the State University of New York at New Paltz College Council. And he is a former member and chair of the Kingston Hospital Board of Trustees.
He is also a recipient of the Pride of Ulster County Award presented by the Ulster County Legislature.
An active community member in his hometown of Saugerties, Mike is a former Town Justice and Town Attorney; a former member of the New York State Republican Committee, the Ulster County Republican Committee and the Ulster County Ethics Committee; former chair of the Town of Saugerties Republican Committee; and delegate and secretary of the Republican Judicial Committee for the Third Judicial District.
Mike is a committed community volunteer and has served as president of the Saugerties Rotary Club; he is also a member and advocate of the Saugerties Knights of Columbus Council 4536, the Ulster County Chamber of Commerce, and the Saugerties Area Chamber of Commerce.
